Privacy & choices

This notice explains how the PLOTVIO site operator uses information on this website and in the PLOTVIO mobile app. Contact the operator through a private privacy request.

Watching without an account

You can watch published free episodes without signing in. Our video and hosting providers process technical request information, including IP addresses, to deliver the website and video. We use OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare for these services.

If you sign in

ChatGPT sign-in provides a site-specific account identifier, email address and display name. PLOTVIO uses these details to identify your account and provide the account features you request. We do not receive your ChatGPT password or conversations. Your favorites and viewing positions are stored with your account to support cloud sync.

Connected mobile devices

To connect the app, we store a device label, a confirmation code and a one-way verification challenge. Requests are valid for ten minutes. Once approved, we store a one-way hash of a device credential and its expiration; connections are valid for up to 30 days. Expired records are removed during subsequent connection requests. The credential itself is held in protected device storage. You can disconnect any app through Connected devices, or sign out within the app. The app syncs your saved stories and watch history only after you connect it. It does not send optional playback statistics.

Your feedback

We store the topic, message, referenced story, time and reply. If you are signed in, the request is linked to your account so we can handle account-related questions. We do not ask for an email address in the feedback form. Keep the private tracking link: anyone with that complete link can read the request and its reply. Replies appear on that page; they are not emailed.

Optional playback statistics

Statistics are off until you allow them. With your permission, we record the series, episode, approximate time watched, completion and player errors under a random identifier for that playback. These records contain no account identifier, email address or raw IP address. They help us understand viewing and fix playback. Replays are separate sessions; we do not build advertising profiles.

Browser preferences and security

Your language, autoplay and statistics choices are saved on this browser. Sign-in providers may use their own authentication cookies. To limit abuse of feedback and statistics, the site keeps short-lived request counts using an hourly hash of the requesting IP address. We honor supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for our optional statistics.

Storage and access

Account information remains while your account is in use. You can remove favorites and individual or all viewing-history entries from your account. Feedback links expire after 180 days, and anonymous playback records are eligible for deletion after 90 days; expired records are cleared during routine use of these services. Request-limit records expire after two hours. Service providers may retain separate security logs and backups under their own policies.

Site administrators can handle feedback and administer content. Hosting and video providers process data needed to run their services and may process it in other countries. See OpenAI’s privacy policy and Cloudflare’s privacy policy for provider information.

Your requests

You can turn statistics off at any time here without losing access to video. To ask about access, correction, export or deletion of account data, submit a privacy request while signed in and retain the tracking link. Do not send passwords, identity documents or payment-card details. You may also raise a concern with the relevant data protection authority where you live.

This pilot does not collect payments, sell personal information or send marketing emails. We will update this notice if these practices change.
